The selection results of 2017 Scientific and Technological Achievement Award for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction by CEA were announced. The projects of “Seismotectonic Research in Xinjiang and Adjacent Areas” completed by Professor Shen Jun, et al. and “Application of Digital Signal Processing in Geophysics” completed by Professor Wan Yongge, et al. were respectively awarded the second prize and third prize.

In recent years, IDP has achieved a series of high-level scientific and technological innovation achievements, which have made important contributions to the cultivation of innovative talents for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and the promotion of scientific and technological innovation in earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
